Remote Monitoring on International Waters
The combination of the DCB 4.0 with Tampnet SIM cards makes it possible to use our remote monitoring system on international waters.
Tampnet operates offshore 4G LTE coverage networks that enable roaming on offshore oil and gas platforms, offshore wind farms, service vessels, and other commercial ships.
The DCB 4.0 features 4G communication, which is necessary to access the Tampnet network.
Additionally, by using smart monitoring (see: Smart Metering – 101 Solutions), we can keep data costs low while maintaining high data accuracy.
