Advanced monitoring via the Modbus protocol
Modbus is a widely used communication protocol in industrial automation. It efficiently reads data from PLCs, controllers, regulators, and sensors.
Our DCB 4.0 connects to Modbus and reads real-time data, including the event list and alarm log if the controller or regulator provides this information (see reading alarm lists and event logs).
Additionally, it is possible to adjust setpoints via the 101Connect web portal.
The protocol supports both serial communication (Modbus RTU) and Ethernet-based communication (Modbus TCP).
You decide which information you want to see and how it is displayed on the dashboard. You can also create your own custom reports.
