How it all started
“I have a problem.”
“I have more than 200 mobile silos filled with dry mortar. All of them are deployed. I can look up where they are located, but I have no idea what the current contents are. When a customer calls asking if we can deliver dry mortar, I have to say ‘no’, even though I know that somewhere at a customer’s site there is a silo that is empty—I just don’t know where. Can you make sure I get insight into where a silo is located and what the current contents are?”
It all started with this question from the director of MegaMix, a supplier of dry mortar (a basic component for cement). It was 2006, construction was booming, but there was no system available to remotely monitor the contents of the silos.
We developed that system.
Unfortunately, the construction crisis followed and demand in the construction sector dropped significantly. The silo content measurement system was only used to a limited extent, but the foundation for a remote monitoring system had been laid.
What has changed over the past 18 years is that we have also become active in other markets, such as monitoring generators, cooling installations, battery packs, diesel engines, and various types of machines, as well as relatively simple applications like GPS trackers for your equipment. You can come to us for simple standard solutions as well as complex custom projects.
What has not changed is our passion for finding solutions.
